Mum's Gift Bag

We've done the thinking for you and come up with two selections of cheese for your very special Mum!

The British Farmhouse Cheeses Gift Bag (Mum to Be) contains approximately 300g in total of three cheeses all suitable to eat during pregnancy. Current government guidelines state you may eat Pasteurised or UnPasteurised cheeses as long as they are hard. Each or our cheese themed gift bags include a packet of crackers and a jar of chutney.

If you wish to add in a drink you can choose the Urban Cordial option - take a look at the flavours we currently have in stock here and write a note in the instructions box in the cart to let us know your preferred flavour. 

The Cheeses: 

Colston Bassett Stilton - P, Cow - classic British blue with beautiful veining

Godminster Vintage Cheddar - P, V, Cow - a mature smooth Somerset Cheddar

Old Winchester - P, V, Cow - deliciously strong Parmesan/Gouda/Cheddar, a style all of it's own

The Soft Cheeses Gift Bag (New Mums) contains approximately 300g in total of three  of the softest, stinkiest cheeses we stock. We took feedback from the new mum's we serve who come in to buy their first post-birth cheese treat. Each or our cheese themed gift bags include a packet of crackers and a jar of chutney.

The Cheeses:

Baron Bigod Brie - UnP, Cow - the best Brie produced in England, direct from Suffolk 

Beauvale - P, Cow - a beautifully soft blue produced in the UK and most similar to a Gorgonzola

Rollright - P, Cow - runny, washed rind, spruce-wrapped - the complete opposite of Pregnancy friendly cheese! 

Drink Options:

• Red Wine - our house red, an Italian Primitivo
• White Wine - our house white, a South African Chenin Blanc
• Beer - 4 x 330ml cans of locally brewed craft beer - a mix of Pales
• Prosecco - our Extra Dry Italian fizz

We may need to substitute cheese now and again due to stock issues caused by Brexit - rest assured we will always choose appropriate cheeses as replacements. However, we are unable to substitute any products in this selection at the customer's request. Head to our cheese page if you want to create your own selection for your Mum. 

**PRODUCT SHELF LIFE - with the majority of our cheeses we cut and wrap them fresh to send out, hard cheeses last 7 to 10 days, softs last 5 to 7 days from date of dispatch. Please bear this in mind when choosing your date of delivery, you can choose up to 3 months in advance. We advise you arrange delivery for as close to your planned date of consumption as possible**

We do stock a small number of individually pre-wrapped cheeses which come in with longer best before dates and make a great option to go into hampers that will not be gifted for a while - please email for advise on which cheeses work best in this instance.
