We’re incredibly excited to be taking part in the inaugural British Cheese Weekender this coming Bank Holiday weekend. It’s a free, online cheese festival with live streamed talks, tastings, farm tours and cookery demos by some of the best cheese makers, mongers and experts in the UK.
You may have recently seen a lot in the press about campaigns to Save British Cheese – including one headed by Jamie Oliver. British cheese needs your support more than ever and getting involved in the British Cheese Weekender is one way you can help.
We’ll be broadcasting our first ever live on Instagram on Sunday 10th of May between 18:30 and 19:00 to talk about about Yorkshire cheeses. We’ll be joined by a very special guest - Mario Olianas (maker of Leeds Blue and Yorkshire Pecorino).
You can join us on the evening too and taste along with Stephen and Mario - purchase the Yorkshire Cheese Box and head to our instagram ready for the tasting at 6.30pm on Sunday.
